Meet SoccerGrlProbs (Short for Soccer-Girl-Problems) What started with ONE single tweet has turned into an internationally known social media and lifestyle brand that fully supports the female athlete, on and off the field.

Hi, we're Carly, Shannon and Alanna. We are extremely proud to be role-models to young female athletes all over the world. We pride ourselves in taking the responsibility to share our real-talk personal experiences, tips and tricks to overcoming the struggles of being a female athlete. We each individually furthered our education (and continue to do so) to provide the best, most updated and trusted information to Ladyballers and their families on a daily basis. When you enroll in a program within SoccerGrlProbs University, you are being coached by Team SoccerGrlProbs and other professionals in the space.

As a Certified Trainer, Kettlebell Specialist and Fitness professional, I vow to help Ladyballers feel FIT and CONFIDENT in their ability to reach their full potential during fitness tests, practice and games. Less self-doubt, more consistent preparation and increased confidence when coach says 'get on the line'!"

"When I graduated, I told myself I'd become a Certified Strength and Conditioning professional so that I can help Ladyballers feel QUICK, STRONG and POWERFUL during and beyond their soccer careers. I also want to continue promoting injury reduction risk because this is often overlooked and under appreciated in the female soccer community"

The SoccerGrlProbs team consists of Long Island natives Alanna Locast '12, Shannon Fay '14 and Carly Beyar '14, who are all former teammates on the Fairfield University Division 1 Women’s Soccer team. While in between practices during preseason of August 2011, the girls and their team were joking around about the struggles of being female soccer players. They spontaneously decided to create a Twitter handle as a comedic outlet to share their inner thoughts and funny moments about the everyday life of a female athlete. Their team told past teammates, friends and coaches about the Twitter, and within weeks their following grew to hundreds and then thousands. Twitter followers then began requesting a YouTube video to be created. In February of 2012, they created their first video, "Sh*t Soccer Girls Say" that tallied over ONE MILLION views in under 24 hours!

Today, SGP has produced over 140 videos that have accumulated over 78+ million minutes watched. What initially started as a comedic venting outlet, became a lifestyle brand with the release of their first t-shirts. Our online shop,  today has 170+ different products, making phrases such as “I Can’t, I Have Soccer” and “I’ll Run It Off Later” sayings that allow soccer girls all over the world to relate to one another.

Today, we continue to develop more ways that we can serve the female athlete as a whole, both on and off the field. We are PROUD to be role models in the soccer space and vow to continue delivering valuable content to Ladyballers all over the world.
